Medicaid Rides

To get a Medicaid ride in Michigan, first determine your Medicaid provider (HMO or straight Medicaid). If you have an HMO, call the number on your member card to arrange transport.

If you have straight Medicaid, contact the Community Resource staff at your local Department of Health and Human Services office. For non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), you should plan to call at least two business days in advance.
