Provides Thanksgiving food baskets to Washtenaw County families who need assistance with a holiday meal.

AACC begins interviewing families for Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance in September. Availability is limited, so families should apply early.

Thanksgiving and Christmas programs are available for Milan Area School District residents and residents of the 48160 zip code, who have income at or below 150% of the poverty level.  

Come together for a Thanksgiving meal on November 15th. See below to RSVP. This is a free community meal for Milan, West Milan, and Dummer families. Comment or message me if you would be willing to bring pie for dessert. Also, if you know someone who will be alone on Thanksgiving and would enjoy a turkey dinner please bring them along.

BE Church Food Pantry

Time: 4:00 PM until the food runs out

Drive-through food distribution serving approximately 100–150 families each week. First come, first served. Volunteers load groceries directly into your vehicle.

Open year-round. Holiday-week schedules may occasionally change, so check the website before going.

Bass, through the Caring & Sharing Food Basket Delivery Program. For decades, this initiative has provided food baskets during Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas to families in need and honor widows of deceased fraternity brothers with a fruit basket and flowers across Washtenaw County and surrounding communities.

Chelsea Hospital – Community Holiday Meals

Chelsea Hospital traditionally provides a free community meal on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day for people who may otherwise be alone or unable to afford a holiday meal.

Registration is required and space is limited.

Faith in Action – Thanksgiving & Christmas Assistance

Provides Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance to qualifying households in the Chelsea and Dexter area.

Eligibility: Household income must generally be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

1.Wednesday, November 26^th, we are doing a 'first-come first first-served' distribution of a turkey and a bag of sides. From 9 am - 11 am or until we run out

2.On Thanksgiving (the 27th), we are doing a take-away Thanksgiving meal from 5 pm-6 pm

Restore World Church is hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner giveaway for the community on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Freight House from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.. This is a gesture of thanks and support for those in need.
